We are a party production company that provides entertainment services for kids, teens , and adults. What is XTFDJ?
This is the DJ and Entertainment side of our business. We are professional DJ/MC’s, dancers, and entertainers (game masters). We offer a huge database of all genres of music, custom playlists, a variety of lighting, video, and special effect. Video production, party planning, and we work as a full production company hiring and managing other vendors for your event. All of this info is available on our website at www.xtfdj.com

Xtreme Fun was started in 1994. XTFDJ began 5 years later.

Who are your parties for?
Our parties are literally for everyone. We have done 1year old parties and 60th anniversaries, kids of all ages, corporations, teams, teens, adults. We have experience in fun for all ages.
Do you do Bar/Bat Mitzvahs?

Do you do parties for schools?
Yes! We offer a program called Xtreme Fun U which not only gives schools great professional entertainment for their graduations, Spring Carnivals, Jog A Thons, and other fundraisers (including more formal parent fundraisers) but also is committed to helping schools raise money through auction donations and free entertainment for fundraisers. Do you do any type of team building for groups, teams, offices, or corporations?
Yes. We have created some very unique team building games that can be done for large or small groups with any purpose as the background setting. Where do you do parties? Do you have a location?
We are both a mobile party company and have contracted locations. We will come to your house, park, beach, community center, hotel ballroom, etc. You can also have your party at San Dieguito Park, Hot Shotz Sports Center or Velocity Sports Center.
What is your geographic area?
We serve all of San Diego, Orange County and Los Angeles. We are based in San Diego so we do have to charge a travel fee for anywhere outside San Diego.
How much do parties cost?
Our standard Xtreme Fun kids’ party packages cost $345-$385*. They include 2hrs of activities (based on your party request), for up to 25 guests, 2 staff, setup, clean up. You can have an add’l staff person for $75.
*Some locations charge a fee please call or email for details. Things my parents won’t let me do at home costs an add’l $25.
Our Custom Party Packages start at $525. Actual price is based on type of party and you will receive a detailed proposal for any custom event.
XTFDJ prices start at $125 per hour (with a 2hr minimum). Click prices on our website and you will see all our DJ and Entertainment options and their prices. We offer everything ala-carte and put your choices into and exciting DJ package.
Can I combine two different types of party styles? Ex: Sports with Wacky Water.
Yes and at no extra charge. Most party styles can be combined so you don’t have to choose.
How do you help out in the community?
In a variety of ways: Our own homegrown program is called Dream Parties. Dream parties offer free parties to underprivileged kids. You can see info on Dream Parties at www.xtremefun.com/dreamparties and either fill out the form for some one you know requesting a Dream party or donate. We appreciate it! We also work with Kids Korp, New Alternatives, Friends of Scott, Children’s Hospital and more.
I often get an answering machine when I call- Why?
We have an office manger in the office from 9-2 Monday thru Thursday. Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays we are mostly out at events. If you get an answering machine during or after office hours please leave a message. We are very good at getting back to our clients quickly. We don’t just work from 9-2 M-TH and we are always picking up messages and returning calls in the later afternoons, evenings, and on weekends too. How do I book a party?
There are several ways to book a party with XTF and XTFDJ. The easiest is to do it online at www.xtremefun.com You can also call the office between 9-2pm M-Th or leave a message anytime. We always get right back to our clients.
-How do I know if the date and time I want is available?
Our availability checker on our website will let you know if the date requested is available however, it does not check times. If you book a party online and there is a time conflict with another party that is already booked we will get back to you immediately and work out the closest available time.
What happens after I fill out the online booking form?
If the date and time requested is available and we do not have any questions we will return email a contract. If we have any questions we will call or email you within 24hrs of receiving your party request.
What do I do with the contract?
When you receive a contract from us to confirm your party you have 3 options: 1) The easiest way to confirm your party is to just click the link at the bottom of the contract to digitally sign and be taken to a secure server to pay your deposit online. 2) You can sign and fax the contract back with your cc info printed on the contract. 3) You can print, sign and mail the contract with a check for deposit.
What happens after you receive my contract and deposit?
We will email you a receipt. On the Wednesday before your party we will email you a confirmation with our estimated arrival/setup time, party time, and venue address. Please let us know immediately if we have any info incorrect.
What should I expect on the day of my party?
You can expect us to arrive on time, friendly, excited and ready for fun. Depending on the number of events we have there may be a separate setup crew than the party crew. Other times the setup crew will be your party crew. Either way, we will just need to know where you want to have the party (if it is at your house), where the closest electricity and/or water access is (if applicable). Then you can expect a great, fun event!
What if my party is at San Dieguito Park, where do I go?
XTF has a contract to host parties at San Dieguito Park in the Solana Beach area. We have a reserved space on the lower level all the way in the back (slight left and straight back from the ranger pay station). We include and informative template with your contract for parties at San Dieguito Park.
What if my party is at Hot Shotz Sports Center, How does that work?
You will receive an information template with your contract detailing the location at Del Mar Fairgrounds, parking info, drop-off info, and food and drink info.
How do I choose music for my DJ party?
In our standard and premium DJ packages you get access to our music database online to let us know what songs, artists, and types of music you both want and don’t want at your party. The website locks you out 5 days prior to your event to give us time to create the playlist on our computers. The premium package also gives you a DJ assistant who can download on demand so your party will never be without a song.
Do you take requests at the party?
Yes. We love requests. We always want to play what you want to hear and dance to. Use the online database to make sure all the songs you really want are at your party so we never have to say “we don’t have that song”.
What is the difference between dancers and game masters?
Dancers are at parties to dance on stage. They know all the latest dances and moves, look great, and are super fun and exciting to have at your event. They are both for show and also interactive leading different types of follow dances and throwing out props and gifts (if provided). Game Masters, along with the DJ, run dance floor type games to keep the party in action between dance songs.
Which do I need for my party?
It depends. If your party is full of people who love to dance and don’t need or want any games then you will want the dancers. If you want lots of games and less dancing then it’s the game masters. And if your party is a mix of games and dancing then choose a combo package.
Who will DJ my event? Can I request a certain DJ?
We have a few different DJ’s all very skilled, talented, experienced, and fun! You can either make a request for a certain DJ (which is free and based on availability) or reserve a certain DJ (there is a charge and is based on availability. Please call or email for more info).
Who will lead my party? Can I request or reserve a certain leader?
The leader and assistant leader of your party will be trained, experiences, easygoing, polite, and fun. All our staff are great! You can make a request (free, based on availability) or a reservation (fee, based on availability). Please call or email for more details.
Are you a franchise or do you have multiple locations?
We are not a franchise. We are a mobile party company that serves many areas in Southern California.
When I look online I see other companies in other states named Xtreme Fun or Extreme Fun is that you?
No, unfortunately those companies are illegally using our name. we have contacted each of them with mixed results. We own the national trademark rights to the name.
What’s next for Xtreme Fun?
In order for us to expand our service to other cities, states, and regions we have begun the process of licensing the Xtreme Fun program. We will begin selling licenses in early 2010. If you would like more info on our new licensing program please email us
